I am currently a grad student in the astronomy department at Wesleyan University. Wesleyan is one of the only schools in the country that offers only a master's degree in astronomy. I will be working on my PhD at the University of British Columbia starting this fall!
I got married a while ago. My husband is currently working as a middle school science teacher in Hartford, CT.
We both went to Caltech for college.
Before that, I was in the first graduating class from Clark Magnet High School in La Crescenta, CA.
My parents founded the Historical Society of the Crescenta Valley, and I maintain their website for them.
I have three younger sisters. This picture is a couple years old. They are all taller than me now!
I have 2 dogs, Molly and Roscoe, who are both rescued strays, and some chickens. I raised the chickens from day-old chicks in my apartment last year.
For fun, I like camping and backpacking in cool places.
I also play music on occasion.
And when I have lots of free time (or at least lots of plane rides) I love knitting and crocheting.
